Hello
My name is Jenny Rooks
I have worked as a Cognative Behaviour Psychotherapist and Counselling Psychologist in the NHS and private practice settings for more than 25 years. During this time I have worked across a number of specialties and with a wide variety of clients of different ages, cultures, religions and orientations. I have employed different approaches to therapy to provide bespoke interventions and programmes for the treatment of stress, anxiety, depression and relationship problems. I am a BABCP accredited therapist and therefore the approach I take is regulated and bound by codes of professional conduct in relation to confidentiality and ethical practice. As a Registered Nurse (Mental Health) I am also guided by these principles. Alongside my therapy role I am responsible for supporting the training of CBT Therapists and providing clinical supervision.
