Although meeting for face to face sessions is now being reconsidered due to the success of the Coronavirus vaccination programme, we are not quite there yet. Remote therapy, by video & telephone calls is still being offered and seems to have become the preferred method for many. I will notify you all when I return to face to face therapy sessions as this can still remain an option in the future for some.
Face to Face sessions take place at Crushes Manor Clinic at Pilgrims Hatch, or alternatively at the Havering Bereavement Service, Communications House in central Brentwood. Map attached on the 'Contact Me' page to help you locate the office. The clinic rooms provide a tranquil and private space which is conducive to reflection. However, if you'd like to book a session at an alternative location, please contact me to discuss and I'll be as flexible as possible to make your treatment sessions work for you as well as they can.
Sessions usually last for 1 hour and begin with an assessment, which may take a few sessions to complete before treatment begins. The number and frequency of sessions are decided upon together and tend to depend on the complexity of problems presented and how quickly the treatment plan advances. As a rough guide between 6 to 15 sessions can be required, however, some people gain significant benefit from a single session.
I understand that life can be really busy and day-to-day commitments can be very time consuming. In the interest of helping you make time to focus on yourself as soon as possible, I also offer weekend and evening sessions to work around your lifestyle. If preferred, I can also offer Zoom or Skype, online, or telephone therapy. Please contact me to arrange pre-payment, request relevant forms and we can then arrange a suitable appointment, if you would prefer this method.
